Programme structure

You will take a series of core and optional courses and complete a substantial independent piece of work, normally in the form of a project, dealing with a topical management issue. There are also non-assessed, compulsory workshop programmes, involving participation in a series of reflective learning exercises that include induction events, strategic case analyses and debates.

Career prospects

This degree prepares those with no previous experience of business and management for a wide range of careers in senior management. Recent graduates have gone onto roles including business development manager, finance & operations commercial manager, and sales director; and have been employed by international organisations such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, E&Y, and BMW. Entry requirements

2.1 Honours degree or non-UK equivalent in any subject. Prior work experience is encouraged but not required. This is a generalist degree for students who have no previous studies in the area of business and management. Those students who do have previous studies in a relevant field of study are advised to consider one of our specialist degrees:

Applicants will be made offers based on their relative performance compared to other applicants, taking into account both current GPA, or degree classification, and the relevance of an applicant’s academic background.
