The Department of Psychology at the University of Cambridge is an internationally renowned Department with a vibrant research culture.
This post will involve conducting innovative research on human memory, contrasting two theories on how memory changes when experiences are traumatic. The primary objective of this position is to conduct and analyse in-person laboratory experiments to test these cognitive theories on healthy volunteers, as part of an ongoing research programme led by Dr. Deborah Talmi in collaboration with Prof. Richard Henson (MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit, University of Cambridge) and Prof. Emily Holmes (Uppsala University, Sweden), funded by an ESRC grant.
