Applications are invited for a full time Research Assistant to work within Professor Sabine Bahn's group in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology.
The position involves a close collaboration with Psyomics Ltd. Psyomics Ltd is a University of Cambridge spin-out company from the Bahn laboratory. The Bahn laboratory and Psyomics Ltd have developed a digital mental health assessment and triage tool which is currently deployed in several NHS trusts.
Key responsibilities
The successful candidate will be supporting research focused on digital technologies for mental health, in various patient groups including adults and children. The role will be diverse covering varied projects with different methodologies. This includes:
- Evaluation of the performance and utility of an adult digital mental health and triage tool.
- Scoping of a novel digital mental health assessment and triage tool for children and young people. This will likely include systematic reviews to establish the state of the art as well as potentially conducting validation studies.
- Working on research projects focused on opportunities for digital tools for the menopause and for premenstrual symptoms and disorders.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 12 months in the first instance.
