The A Side: A day in the life

Work closely with Campaign Managers, Head of Catalogue & Classical Marketing and Mercury KX Label Head and assist in all aspects of the marketing process

The B Side: Skills & experience

Be operational

  • Supporting Campaign Managers and Head of Catalogue & Classical Marketing with all aspects of marketing campaigns across Decca Records, Decca Classics, and Mercury Classics Soundtrack & Score releases
  • Liaising with external suppliers
  • Assisting with launch events and other campaign event moments
  • Assisting with photo and video shoots and relating administration
  • Supporting the Marketing Assistant where appropriate
  • Arranging and organisation of digital assets into Universal systems
  • Co-ordinating the set-up and delivery of digital and physical audio releases
  • Co-ordinating the set-up and delivery of videos and other content to hosting sites

Be administrative

  • Creation of infomails and circulation of audio to internal and external contacts
  • Managing Box / Alpha asset resources
  • Booking advertising with internal and external media agencies
  • Managing Uniport for all departmental invoicing, set up and assisting with budget management
  • Managing the upkeep and distribution of release schedules
  • Supporting Campaign Managers with label copy and other production duties where appropriate
  • Creation of Linkfire links for products
  • Booking of staff and artist travel
  • General admin supporting the marketing team
  • Any other duties that support the marketing team
  • Other duties as appropriate

Person specification

  • Passionate about music
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels
  • Highly organised with the ability to keep calm under pressure
  • Flexible and able to prioritise own workload
  • Self-motivated with the ability to deal with the routine tasks as well as the more interesting aspects of the role
  • Good IT skills i.e. Word Packages and Excel
  • Ability to use own initiative in terms of problem solving
