The B Side Skills Experience

Be Administrative

  • Updating the central calendar to ensure the department has the most recent information on artist trips/gigs/events and birthdays
  • Compiling a weekly report documenting all artist activity across all subsidiary labels
  • Continually researching and updating database of event information (venues, schedules, budgets etc.)
  • Cultivate good working relationships with internal and external suppliers
  • Assist with Universal artist and VIP gift purchasing
  • Maintain a central overview of all department expenditure
  • Booking meetings, couriers, and taxis
  • Creating content and posting on the department Social Media channels
  • Ad hoc support for events within the business

Person Specification

  • Positive and upbeat can-do attitude
  • Experience of working in an administrative / support role with above average attention to detail, resourceful, highly organised
  • Very personable, excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to form strong working relationships with internal colleagues and external contacts
  • Time management skills and the ability to prioritise
  • Willingness to work outside of contracted hours when required
  • Very strong IT and social media skills
