About the scheme

Join United Utilities’ 3-year Graduate Programme in our Customer & Technology team and kickstart your career! As a Business Information Management Graduate, you’ll have the chance to work in our credit performance and insight department. This established team excels in delivering business reporting, behavioural scorecards, and customer insights, helping us understand our customers, support vulnerable community members, and maximise water bill payments. What will I be doing?

  • You’ll receive a tailored development programme to build your skills in decision making, data analysis, management, reporting, and presentation.
  • You’ll have the opportunity to spend time in different areas of the business, gaining a comprehensive view of how we leverage data to optimise performance.
  • Becoming an expert in using state-of-the-art data tools like Exasol, Databricks, Alteryx, and Tableau.
  • Applying mathematical and statistical skills to help us understand our business and customers better.

What do I need to be successful?

We require our graduates to have a minimum 2:1 degree classification in scientific, statistical, or mathematical disciplines.

You will also need to be:

  • Motivated, enthusiastic, and a strong leader.
  • An excellent team player and communicator at all levels.
  • Able to work under pressure in various situations.
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise work is essential.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and a keen eye for detail are required.

  • A one-way video interview
  • An assessment centre, which will take place between 27th November – 6th December 2024.
