Key responsibilities

The Video & Post-Production Assistant will assist in the production and post-production of various video projects, including promotional videos, instructional videos, corporate videos, and higher-budget product launches.

This role is ideal for a creative individual with a passion for video production, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and contribute to all phases of the video production process.

  • Pre-Production:
    • Assist in project planning and coordination.
    • Help develop production schedules and timelines.
    • Conduct research and gather resources necessary for shoots.
    • Support the creation of storyboards and shot lists.
    • Coordinate with team members to ensure all pre-production needs are met.
  • Production:
    • Assist in setting up and breaking down equipment on set.
    • Help manage on-set logistics and coordinate talent.
    • Provide support to the director and camera crew during shoots.
    • Ensure that all footage is properly logged and backed up.
  • Post-Production:
    • Assist in the editing of video content using Adobe Premiere Pro.
    • Aid in the selection of suitable music, sound effects, and voice-overs.
    • Support the creation of graphics, animations, and other visual effects.
    • Help ensure all edits meet project specifications and quality standards.
    • Assist in the review and feedback process, incorporating changes as needed.
  • General:
    • Organize and maintain video files and assets.
    • Maintain and manage video production equipment.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video production and post-production.
    • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative meetings.
    • Maintain organized project files and documentation.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What we look for

Candidates must be ambitious, driven and enthusiastic, with an interest in pursuing a career in a leading international business. Application requirements:

  • A degree essential at 2:1 or above. Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 6-12 months experience either full time or part time.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Basic understanding of camera operation, lighting, and audio equipment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
