The role
Working in our Lancaster city centre office (with flexible working options), you will quickly become a key member of our fast-paced software development team who design and develop Maytas, our learning management solution. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will gain invaluable experience and skills as a Junior Test Automation Engineer!
This role will provide an excellent opportunity to develop your skills further within a first-class, well established and globally deployed product. You will be part of a distributed product team with outposts in Australia, New Zealand and Manila as well as multiple offices in the UK.
What can I bring to the role
First and foremost, you will have a passion for software testing; this will go hand in hand with a solid academic or vocational background and an aptitude for solving problems analytically and creatively. Ideally, you will have some commercial experience under your belt and already started your software journey.
We are looking to hear from Junior TAE with previous experience using Playwright and have the willingness to learn other key skills. Your tasks will be varied and will include following test strategies, using recognised test methodologies, detecting, and tracking defects and providing feedback on the suitability of the software for release.
By creating, designing, and maintaining automated and manual test scripts and providing input into the design of user acceptance criteria, you will contribute to the team’s overall goal of ensuring that our customers’ expectations are surpassed.
You will be comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary team and will have strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively and clearly explain things in a way which is easily understood by others.
