What would my responsibilities be? 

You’ll contribute to the development and delivery of TfW’s multimodal integration agenda, providing expert advisory services to support decision-making associated with transport investment. This includes business case and feasibility work for transport  infrastructure and supporting Welsh Government, local authorities and other partners in making public transport a key element of an integrated transport system. 

Are there any essential requirements? 

  • A post graduate degree (Masters) in a relevant area such as Transport & Planning, Transport Planning and Engineering, Urban Transport.   
  • The ability to understand, analyse and interpret data to support decision making and recommendations. 
  • The ability to manage time and priorities effectively, whilst balancing workload and academic study to achieve key objectives and deliverables.  
  • An understanding of the ways in which different travel modes can support the aims to reduce carbon emissions and reduce the need to travel by car. 
  • Have an interest or passion in transport/transport planning and sustainability.  

Welsh language skills 

We welcome people who can speak or write in Welsh, but it’s not essential for this role.
