This is the only scheme that will allow you to work across the business. It is pan-TfL – you can move from government relations to finance, working on stations to HR.

Salary  

£31,000, rising to £32,250 in the second year.

50% of time split between the office/on-site and remote working over a 4-week period, with some variation subject to business requirements.

Entry requirements   

A minimum of 2:2 degree in any discipline.  

Please be advised that should you be successful in getting an offer for this graduate scheme, your offer will be subject to a satisfactory medical which may include a drugs and alcohol screening. You will also be subject to an eye test and hearing test, the results of which may impact operational duties. Reasonable adjustments will be put in place if required.

What will I be doing?

Your two-year development programme will be made up of up to four placement rotations. Our aim is to equip you with the range of skills and experience you need for a successful career. We also understand that everyone’s career is different, so every graduate’s journey is unique.

The scheme structure is as follows

  • You will start with a 4-week operational placement on London Underground   
  • This is followed by a 6-month office-based placement that is arranged for you  
  • You will then have a 4-week surface operational placement, such as working on river boats or supporting our policing colleagues to ensure the security of our network

Depending on the placements you could work a variation of hours, including shifts, which may include night shifts for operational placements.
