Tony Gee and Partners is currently recruiting for a CAD Technician to join their multi-disciplinary team based in Glasgow.

    As a CAD Technician in the Glasgow office, you will support our teams to deliver a variety of exciting and interesting projects. We work across multiple sectors including Power & Energy and Highways, using our design expertise to find innovative solutions for our clients whether they need a bridge, wind turbine base, drainage network, road or access track.

    Our teams of engineers and technicians develop the solutions together; as a Level 2 Technician you will build on your knowledge to become a skilled member of the team, learning how to produce quality drawings and models using a variety of software including AutoCAD, Civils 3D and Revit.

    Essential

    • HND in Civil Engineering
    • Use of CAD Software – Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting/design software
    • Awareness of project planning, health & safety regulations (CDM), and cost estimation.
    • Data Interpretation – Understanding of engineering reports, charts, and specifications.
    • Good Communication skills
    • Enthusiasm

    Desirable

    • AutoCAD (2D/3D)

    Qualifications

    • Minimum HNC or equivalent in a relevant technical subject
