As a result of our expansion plans, and our continued ongoing success we are seeking a dynamic Marketing Assistant to be based at our Head Office in Plymouth.

About the Role

A fantastic opportunity to join an expanding Marketing team for the fastest growing retailer in the South West and make your mark in a role where you will be responsible for supporting the Marketing Department.

You will be joining a large marketing team who work closely with and internal design and photo studio. This role will involve a full spectrum of retail marketing which includes, TV and Radio Advertising, PR, in-store POS, Social Media and helping to support our store opening programme. You will be supporting the other members of the team in their daily jobs but also have your own tasks to complete.

Knowledge and Skills

Essential

  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment with accountability for delivering campaigns on time and on budget
  • Ability to analyse data and adapt marketing activity based on results
  • Experience in producing consumer facing marketing literature
  • Be able to simultaneously manage multiple projects with various stakeholders
  • A natural flair for writing, with strong copywriting and communication skills in English
  • Proven exceptional communication and partnership development skills
  • Self-motivated with excellent organisation skills and attention to detail

Desirable

  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a relatable Marketing role, B2C marketing experience an advantage
  • Skilled in Microsoft software packages, specifically excel
  • Degree educated or equivalent
