As we drive forward our Society-wide transformation and invest in our customer centric strategy, we have a brand-new role available for a Copywriter to join the team on a 12-month fixed term contract! A key part of this role will be supporting a significant project that will have a hugely positive impact on our transformation strategy.

As an experienced copywriter, you will create compelling copy that effectively conveys our brand messaging, promotes our products and services, and ultimately drives engagement amongst our audiences.

You will be disciplined to maintain consistency across our brand assets, and you will be highly collaborative with the experience and confidence to work autonomously to deliver to project deadlines over the next 12 months.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing

  • Create engaging written content for on and offline channels; you will be briefed from within and outside of the team with clear guidelines, alignment with objectives and deadlines.
  • Support the end-to-end process of briefing jobs into the multimedia design team to create assets for a range of channels, and ensure new content is appropriate for the environment it is set to be used in.
  • Provide recommendations on how our tone of voice is best applied across a range of media and you will ensure all content is created and implemented alongside best practice guidelines.
  • Review and amend (where required) content across owned channels on a regular basis to measure its credibility, level of compliance, alignment to our values while spotting opportunities for improvement.
  • This is a highly collaborative role working with the wider marketing team and stakeholders across the business to ensure content is created in alignment with objectives. You will be pro-active and effective in your communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to our culture of learning and skill development within the team and stay informed about industry trends and best practice standards. You will keep abreast of the external market and introducing interesting concepts and ideas to NBS.

About you

  • Highly collaborative, creative and curious with strong communication skills.
  • Experience within a similar copywriting role; working within the guidelines of a brief you will be able to write creative and compelling copy.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to generate stakeholder interest through creative ideas.
  • You will be pro-active and autonomous with the ability to plan and deliver within deadlines.
