Joining our highly dedicated and knowledgeable product management team, you will learn how to have the commercial magic touch to source great products, at the best price which have a good supply. This ensures we can always deliver on (or exceed!!) the expectations of our customers.

A bit about the role

As a trainee within the team, you will learn from the best, whilst undertaking duties such as:

  • Proactively managing build request requirements for core products to ensure business and custom retail builds are loaded into the production system
  • Ensure all systems are up to date, assisting with purchasing tickets
  • Act as a level of technical approval for core product BOMs
  • Assist with placing orders with suppliers, processing purchase orders in line with internal procedures.
  • Assist with ensuring optimum web presence for our core products
  • Maintain PC, Workstation and Server holding orders to ensure they are loaded into build with the appropriate timescale to meet the customers expectation
  • Actively research our competitors and their relative pricing strategies, making sure we have the right products advertised at the right price.
  • Proactively liaise with colleagues at all levels across the company to ensure excellent communication, information sharing and good working relationships.
  • Process day-to-day administrative tasks, including prompt response to enquiries through all mediums of communication.

What we need from you

  • Passion for all things IT and tech related, with experience and knowledge of building PC’s.
  • Enthusiasm and a desire to want to develop your career in purchasing/product management and be committed to work your way up.
  • High motivation and proactiveness, keeping yourself up to date with current and emerging IT products, components and operating systems, as well as their workings.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the confidence to develop great working relationships with suppliers and internal departments
  • High attention to detail with excellent analytical skills
