We are looking for a motivated and adaptable undergraduate to support our marketing efforts across the Focusrite Audio reproduction brands: Martin Audio, Optimal Audio, TiMax, Outboard, and Linea Research.

This hands-on role will give the successful candidate exposure to a range of marketing functions, offering valuable experience in both the audio technology and marketing fields.

This position is perfect for someone with a keen interest in marketing, audio technology, and media, who is eager to develop their skills in a professional setting.  The position provides the opportunity to travel to installation sites for photoshoots and other content creation activities when applicable.

Key responsibilities

  • Support marketing activities across all Focusrite Audio Reproduction brands, ensuring timely coordination and execution.
  • Help organise marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional materials.
  • Provide administrative support, such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining documentation.
  • Collaborate on social media content scheduling and management, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Manage digital assets such as product information, imagery, and media files.
  • Assist with video editing for promotional materials and social media content (skills in video editing are a bonus).
  • Help with logistical tasks related to events, trade shows, and other marketing activities.
  • Work with the marketing team to create presentations using Microsoft Office tools, such as PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Assist with digital content creation, including photo and video shoots at installations and events.
  • Other duties as assigned by the marketing director and management staff.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in marketing, business, audio technology, or a related field.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a bonus, but not essential.
  • Video editing skills are a bonus, particularly with tools like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut.
  • Adaptability to work in a dynamic environment, with the ability to switch between office work and on-site content creation (photoshoots, installations).
  • Interest in audio technology and/or marketing, with a passion for developing a career in these fields.
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive problem-solver with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Driving license would be advantageous
