S&C offers a two-week summer placement scheme for candidates interested in joining the Firm as a trainee.
The role
During these two weeks, summer placement students shadow a partner or senior lawyer to help them get a feel for S&C’s work and culture.
There are also opportunities to meet socially the people who work at S&C, making this an interesting, rewarding and enjoyable introduction to the Firm.
Participants in the summer vacation scheme are paid not less than £750 per week.

We will accept applications for our 2025 summer vacation scheme from penultimate-year law students and final-year non-law students, as well as those studying for postgraduate degrees, from 1 November 2024 through 10 January 2025.
We expect to offer up to twelve places on our 2025 summer vacation scheme. We do not accept applications for our vacation scheme from students in their first year of university.
