About the role
We are seeking to appoint a graduate paralegal in our probate & wills department. You will support and assist fee earners in carrying out duties and, where appropriate, advise and liaise with clients and their affairs.
What makes this role great?
As a probate paralegal, you’ll gain an understanding of probate law, estate planning, trusts, wills, guardianships, and other estate-related legal matters. You will get involved in; preparing probate petitions, filing court documents, drafting correspondence, managing asset inventories, and communicating with beneficiaries.
You will assist clients during emotionally difficult times, helping them navigate complex legal processes like settling estates, avoiding disputes, and distributing assets.
Probate law often involves emotionally sensitive situations. As a probate paralegal, you have the chance to provide much-needed support and clarity to families during a difficult time.
About you
- For this role we ask that you have a real passion in this area of law, you will need to be compassionate and understanding.
- You will also need a Law Degree.
About the team
Our Probate & Wills team are a down to earth and friendly department of 10, who pride themselves on being approachable, genuine and plain speaking, all whilst maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
Working as part of this team, you will be truly supported daily by all members of the department.We offer both formal and informal supervision and offer weekly catch ups and meetings with the fee earner you support about progressing matters and identifying any need to training/support.
