Analyst is responsible for ensuring the integrity of data on Aladdin, delivering Portfolio Operational services to M&G
Major responsibilities
- Maintain professional competence
- Project management – ensure that any team specific tasks in relation to projects are completed.
- Represent the team when appropriate at meetings regarding projects affecting the team, fund launches and in specie transfers
- Work closely with team to ensure that all tasks are completed in the most efficient way. Participate in projects to amend /automate team processes where possible
- Complete training as defined by manager.
- Assure the integrity of the data on the Fund Management System (Aladdin)
- Answer queries from Fund Managers, Custodians and Fund Accountants
- Ensure that there is open and ongoing dialogue with all internal and external contacts in respect of the above activities
- Build operational processes to support product development
- Work closely with the Operational SME’s in Hyderabad
About you
Specific Qualifications/Skills
Knowledge of Middle Office Operations. Excellent communication skills, detail oriented and accuracy, problem solving skills, ability to multi-task and ability to work under pressure/deadlines. Preferably IOC or IMC qualified. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and the ability to identify and implement efficiencies / automation
Previous Level of Experience
- 1-2 Years’ experience in any finance related field
- Analytical mind-set, with attention to detail and ability to work to tight timelines.
Skills - interpersonal, numerical, problem-solving, analytical, etc
- Good communication skills and an ability to provide a customer focused approach
- Well-developed writing skills to facilitate the production of high quality board minutes
- Attention to detail while retaining efficiency and effectiveness
- PC literate – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Disposition
- Flexible working hours may be required.
- Strong sense of ownership and leadership
- Operate with minimal supervision in a complex environment
- Willingness to travel if required
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and work on own initiative and as part of a team
