About the programme
You will be supported and launched into a banking career on a global scale through our 18-month graduate programme. During our induction, you’ll meet peers and senior executives from across the Bank, creating networks that will support your career growth.
Our training programme will enable you to develop your technical, business, and interpersonal skills. You’ll get real-world simulations and case studies that will make our training come alive. Future skill development is a key priority across the programme and your career development, as we're committed to changing the way banking works for the better.
Your role
Your role will be hands-on from day one, allowing you to develop your skills quickly and be an integral member of our team. Investment Banking graduates perform research and analysis, financial modelling and valuation, and preparation of investment materials and presentations. By supporting senior bankers in our mergers and acquisitions (M&A) teams, you'll learn to develop significant multi-product and sector-specific expertise in cross-border deals including:
- Execution of end-to-end corporate finance transactions (both M&A and financing)
- Developing detailed financial models to value companies and evaluate performance under a variety of scenarios, as well as analysing potential M&A or capital market transactions.
- Preparing presentation materials for clients covering M&A execution, capital market activity, and general corporate finance
- Contributing to the origination and execution of transactions, including due diligence and marketing materials
- Researching and benchmarking companies, industries, and countries
- Coordination of bank-wide deal team members
- Providing daily project management and execution support for live transactions
Eligibility
We welcome students from all degree disciplines and encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds. We’re looking for team players with excellent academic achievements and extracurricular activities, agile multi-taskers who can handle pressure, analytical minds with numeracy and attention to detail, and those who are adept at building relationships and striving towards goals. Our more technical positions will suit individuals with Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics and Statistical proficiency.
You’ll be a final year student, able to start July 2025, with the permanent legal right to work in the country you’re applying to.

- For US Graduate roles, we will not consider applicants seeking Optional Practical Training (OPT) or Curricular Practical Training (CPT) employment.
