The primary objective of this role is to provide business analysis within a Wealth management company. Acting as an adviser to the business you will be working at multiple levels and operating within a business change environment. Business Change is here to help teams/divisions realise what they need, find a solution and how to implement it. This isn’t always about what they want, but about what they need.
There are around 60 Business Analyst in the company with about 200 across the Business Change division. That number consists of a variety of roles and abilities including Project Managers, Project Managers Office, Architecture (Systems/Software), Change Initiation, Administration and Business Analysis. Your team consists of around 10 in your day to day, but you will have exposure to people across the wider division and company.
Teams or Partners might say they need certain new software or a redesign of a business process, so you would need to meet them and understand why they are asking for it, what they want it to do and when they want it to happen. You will work with them to understand this and establish if you need to create something new for them, or see if what they are asking for already exists elsewhere in the business. Working with teams from across the business makes this role incredibly varied and can involve working on short and long term projects simultaneously.
The role involves
- Working effectively with team members, conducting investigations, and assuring the feasibility of proposed solutions
- Lead relationships within the project. Ensuring that all perspectives are identified and analysed
- Gain an understanding of different methodologies used to lead and deliver projects (eg. Waterfall and Agile)
About you

You'll have experience using Microsoft office, communicating with Internal and external points of contact. This role will involve a large amount of problem solving, so you would need to be interested and comfortable in that environment.
This a role where you have the chance to create relationships, with people from across the division and company. For Business Change to be effective in what they do, they need to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of team members.
