A great opportunity has arisen for a graduated or soon-to-graduate IT Analyst to join our amazing team!

About Us

St Andrew’s Healthcare is a charity providing specialist mental healthcare services. We work in partnership with a number of NHS, voluntary, educational and research organisations to deliver a range of specialist inpatient and community mental healthcare services, education and research that helps to improve the lives of people with complex mental health needs.

As a charity, all of our profits are re-invested into new services and new facilities. And because we’re independent, we have the flexibility to make a real difference. Joining us is your chance to make a big contribution to amazing work that is transforming the lives of some of society’s most vulnerable people.

The Role and Person

The key responsibilities for the role at St Andrews Healthcare are to provide technical support to, and development of, a range of clinical applications used across the Charity. These applications are used by our clinical teams to support our patients and improve their lives. You may not have experience directly with using this suite of applications, but you will be a keen learner, a good problem solver and have a desire to grow and develop your skills. A good understanding of SQL queries and the Microsoft 365 application portfolio will stand you in very good stead. You will be exposed to SQL, HTML and XML in your day-to-day activities both from a support and development side.

From day one you will have the support of an experienced team of Analyst Developers under the stewardship of Ben Jenkins. The team have over 40 years of experience implementing, developing and supporting clinical applications.

Training will be given on the job and you will be mentored by one of the team. We want you to grow within the organisation and St Andrews has a dedicated Learning & Development team that will support you throughout your time here. We also have a dedicated team looking after apprenticeships and we will be happy to further your learning through an approved apprenticeship scheme.
