Quality is responsible for ensuring that all products and processes are compliant with engineering, customer and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities

  • Interact with other functions (notably Engineering, Operations, Operations Engineering and Supply Chain) as well as with customers, external suppliers (worldwide) and regulatory authorities.
  • Support new development projects, production contracts, supplier development and transfer of work activity utilising advanced quality product planning (APQP) tools and techniques. Working within several specialist areas such as CMM programming, non-destructive testing, laboratory testing, calibration, and digital metrology.
  • Quality Assurance is a key element of the Quality function – it oversees the company Quality Management System and engages with regulators such as CAA and implements an audit programme internally and with global suppliers to ensure process and product compliance.
  • The quality of our people is extremely important to us and, ideally, applicants should have a strong academic background coupled with excellent interpersonal skills – communication, teamwork, commitment, self-discipline, and high motivation

Qualifications

It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that sufficient detail is provided on the application form to demonstrate how the applicant meets the stated job criteria, as this alone will be used for vetting purposes.

Essential Criteria

  • BSc/BEng degree (minimum 2:2) in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electronic or Chemical Engineering, where the course content has been accredited by one of the major engineering institutions enabling applicants to pursue CEng status.
  • Requirement to work 36 hours per week 5 days a week in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
  • Positive, enthusiastic and hardworking attitude combined with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in aerospace industry as a career.

Desirable Criteria

  • A 2.1, first-class honours degree or Masters in a directly relevant subject. as in the essential criteria, may be considered during shortlisting for this role. Demonstrable hands-on relevant experience to complement theoretical/academic experience
  • Further relevant experience outside of your academic career

Qualification must be obtained by 30th June 2025

All applicants will be considered for graduate positions in Summer 2025, however those applicants who have already attained the required qualifications, will be considered for any available positions in late 2024 / early 2025
