The Role
Working alongside experienced and passionate landscape architects and designers, the graduate role offers the chance to get involved in wide range of landscape planning, masterplanning and design projects in our multidisciplinary team. You would be involved in a range of projects across various sectors with a focus on natural and built environment. These are located throughout the UK and Ireland, with a range of public and private sector clients, some moving towards implementation and some already on site, providing a depth of experience.
Our Graduate Programme has been designed to attract the most agile and inquisitive minds to join our team and collaborate on diverse projects across the country and our wider global SLR network. We want to help you find your own voice within the world of design and are dedicated to providing learning initiatives and mentorship that support your personal and professional development.
We aim to introduce you to project and client work early on, maximising your performance in your role and kick-starting your career, whilst providing hands-on support and mentorship at all stages.
As a graduate you will automatically be enrolled on our structured Graduate Programme which will support both your technical and business development giving you a great foundation for a rewarding and dynamic career.

About you
We are looking for enthusiastic Landscape Architecture graduates to join SLR’s dynamic multidisciplined Landscape, Design and Assessment team in Edinburgh. We seek creative thinkers with strong graphic skills and a passion for placemaking within the natural and built environment. We are ideally looking for recent landscape architecture graduates (post 2023) from a registered UK Landscape Institute accredited course who are interested in working towards chartership.
