What you’ll be doing
You’ll embark on a transformative journey through rotating every six-months on your two-year journey with us. Whether you’re drawn to branding, marketing, or the commercial aspects of our business, we’ve got a pathway for you.
During your first year, you’ll learn our foundational principles about how we work and how different departments operate. Gain firsthand experience through two 6-month rotations within our consumer group where you’ll you will experience one creative role within our marketing and insight teams, and one numerical based role in our commercial and trading disciplines.
As you step into the second year, you’ll experience two further rotations where you’ll get to tailor your journey by selecting which departments align with your career aspirations. Whichever route you choose, you’ll be given challenges that’ll help you grow.
You’ll hit the ground running. Dive into complex and challenging projects, such as developing mobile sales plans, leading consumer research initiatives, or creating marketing campaigns for brand-new shows. The opportunities are truly endless. But that’s not all – you’ll also collaborate with talented peers, hone your business skills, and contribute to shaping our multibillion-pound enterprise.

What we’re looking for
There are two types of requirements for this programme.
Education: You’ll have an undergraduate degree (or are about to complete one). Our programme is designed to give you all the necessary knowledge and experience. So, it doesn’t matter what your degree is. We’re much more interested in the passion, drive and talent you can bring to the team.
Right to work: You must have the appropriate right to work in the UK by the programme's start date. Please be aware Sky does not offer sponsorship for this programme.
Your application journey
Step 1 – Submit your application.
We’ll ask for your details, academic information, and anything else you think would be relevant, such as work experience.
Once your application has been submitted, you’ll be invited to complete our immersive digital assessments. This may land in your junk folder, so remember to check it.
Step 2 – Complete our two online digital assessments.
These look at your Sky fit and your business fit based on the programme you’ve applied to. You’ll also be able practice each assessment beforehand, so please read our email instructions carefully. We’ve added some tips to help you along the way.

This dedicated practice zone will give you an insight our assessment process. You’ll discover your values, the type of work you may be suited to and your preferred learning styles.
Step 3 – Attend our virtual assessment centre
For the final stage of your application, we’ll invite you to our virtual assessment centre and give you some tasks to get to know you better. The day will provide you with a practical insight into what it’s like to work in Business Strategy and will assess your aptitude for this programme.
Once you’ve completed your assessment day, we’ll let you know when you can expect to hear back from us.

Where developing you begins

Our 2-year learning and development programme runs alongside your graduate programme and includes a Buddy System to connect with peers, mentors for insights and guidance, monthly 1-2-1s to track your progress, shadowing opportunities to learn from experienced colleagues, and quarterly forums to engage in discussions and share experiences with fellow graduates. This comprehensive support continues throughout your programme and beyond.
Plus, you’ll have access to a range of tools, from workshops to digital courses (like Sky Learn), which will help you along the way. It’s a journey and we want you to see your progress, so you’ll get your very own development report to track your success.
Our support doesn’t end there. You’ll join a cohort of grads on the same journey as yourself and we’ve also got an Emerging Talent community setup to support early talent in Sky. They host regular events and talks on topics important to young people starting their career journeys.
