About the role
Your first project may involve working on applications such as trading systems, options pricing algorithms, or market surveillance tools. In most projects, you will work across the full tech stack, from the web or desktop front-ends, to back-end algorithms, communications, databases and cloud deployments. The work is often technically challenging and will certainly help to accelerate your growth.
Working with Sinara, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills whilst working on an active project and make a meaningful impact. You will get the chance to work in teams committed to using the best programming techniques and share information and your own ideas with colleagues and even clients of both a technical and non-technical background.
About you
You are a recent or soon-to-be graduate with a 2:1 or above in a numerate degree, or an early-career developer looking for a new challenge. You are passionate about code, have a desire to learn new technical skills and enjoy solving all kinds of problems.
You demonstrate creative thinking and attention to detail in order to design solutions to technical challenges. You are able to think beyond just what is stated in requirements to achieve quality.
No previous financial knowledge? No problem! You will learn everything you need on the job.
Starting work at Sinara
When you start work at Sinara you will take part in a two-week induction programme where you will get to know our software development approach and learn the basics of certain key technical skills, in particular C#. Then it’s down to work; you will join a team working on one of our current projects, developing your existing skills and learning new ones, collaborating on a variety of activities with staff from around the company.
