What would my working day be like? 

You are encouraged to be in the office most of the time, as we believe this dynamic environment is the best place to learn, network and have fun whilst being an early careers professional. Our office is in Hebburn, South Tyneside, about 20 minutes from Newcastle centre, with good public transport links.

As a HR Intern your role will include

  • Driving varied and interesting HR projects tackling key issues that affect our people, including the roll out of new processes and initiatives.
  • Collaborating with HR colleagues to support the business through change and helping to shape the future of work. 
  • Understanding employee-employer relations procedures and how cases are managed in a professional environment.
  • Researching and analysing data to shape current and future HR activities.
  • You’ll also have the flexibility throughout the internship to focus on topics and projects which most interest you. 

What do I need to apply? 

  • Currently pursuing a 2:2 or above in a HR or business-oriented degree with a demonstrable interest in a career in HR.
  • Possess a logical mindset, a thirst for self-learning and research, and a knack for out-of-the-box problem-solving. 
  • Excel at working independently, taking ownership of challenges, and have the potential to drive and lead change. 
  • Thrive in collaborative environments and love brainstorming with others to discover cutting-edge solutions.
