As an Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Intern, you will be working as part of the EHS team to support our operational teams working in the manufacturing environment on daily basis. The challenges and opportunities are varied in nature and may include assisting EHS inspections, audit preparations, assisting with incident investigations, EHS improvements, data collection, data analysis, identifying environment saving and other supporting tasks when and if required.

Shortlisted candidates must be available to attend an Assessment Centre on 6th December 2022 at Hull University and the candidate will required to start in August 2023.

Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to

  • You will be expected to technically understand some manufacturing issues, be part of developing innovative safety or environmentally friendly solutions and then help deploy them, under supervision, to improve the overall performance of the factory.
  • Occasionally you might be required to work various shifts.
  • You will experience first-hand the challenges faced by today’s EHS Department in the manufacturing sector and gain an in-depth insight into EHS and manufacturing operations at a modern high-tech facility
