Severn Trent is a FTSE 100 company and one of the only ones outside London to have an all-encompassing Finance department, with over 300 employees in areas such as Taxation, Business Information, Treasury and Business Planning. Our Summer Placement Programme offers the perfect blend of personal and professional development, exposing you to the core of our business. The 8- or 12-week programme will allow you to work on real life challenges and projects that impact our core business functions.
The aim of the programme is to give you awareness and insight into the finance department of a regulated and growing business.

How will the programme work?
You will be based at Severn Trent Centre in Coventry, the heart of our operating patch. You will be able to complete either an 8- or 12-week placement depending on your preference as well as what the business area currently has on from a project perspective.
In this exciting programme, you will have the chance to discuss your development and career ambitions in your 1-1 meetings with business leads, mentors, a study the cohort leader, and the New Talent Team.
About the placement
- Location: Severn Trent Centre, Coventry, CV1 2LZ
- Programme Duration: 8 or 12 weeks
- Starting Salary: £22,011 pro rata
- Entry Criteria: A studying for a degree ideally in Finance, Accounting, Maths, Economics or Business Studies
You must be currently studying at a UK university and be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship
