WGM Engineering are currently recruiting for a Graduate Production Engineer to join our Engineered Solutions business stream in Glasgow. The role of the Graduate- Rotating Equipment Engineer is to support the production of whole life cycle Rotating Equipment within the water and wastewater sector.
Duties & responsibilities
- This will involve the development of technical support to Workshop/Site Service and Specialised Coatings Teams.
- Carrying out tasks for our Delivery Managers and engaging with the repair/re-manufacturing/ refurbishment of rotating equipment and well as the Application of Repair Coatings used in the preservation of several types of fixed assets.
- You will be required to participate in site survey work on active assets, such as treatment works and pumping stations, and live construction sites to support the development and delivery of the projects.
- Work on jobs throughout their lifecycle, from scoping, planning and scheduling, incorporation of best practice involving modern techniques and practices, and supporting delivery across multi-discipline activities.
You will be educated to degree level in mechanical engineering or engineering design. You will have excellent communication and written skills and hold a valid uk drivers license.
