Key duties and responsibilities

  • Assist in developing strategies to enhance our maritime asset management services and resources, including maintenance and ISO 55000 strategy.
  • Contribute to the creation of asset management services by integrating existing capabilities.
  • Aid in identifying internal and external opportunities for new maritime asset management projects with clients and business developers.
  • Eagerness to acquire new skills and dedication to expanding knowledge in various areas of asset management.
  • Under the guidance of senior team members, represent this growing segment within the wider business.
  • Learn from and support senior staff in the team and through project delivery groups.
  • Provide support on maritime asset management projects, including reviewing deliverables and providing advice on common and best practices in asset and maintenance management.
  • Assist in promoting internal and external awareness of our maritime asset management services.
  • Support the execution and management of projects in line with scopes, programs, budgets, QHSE processes, and growth strategies.
  • Assist in designing and delivering projects that may include reviewing maritime clients’ asset management systems, creating asset management policies, supporting Change Management, setting KPIs, and managing asset information.
  • Contribute to the broader corporate goal of “Enhancing Society Together” by working on projects that impact that have climate resilience, sustainability, and digital transformation.

Desired skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • A genuine interest in asset management as well as a willingness to continually learn and adapt in this dynamic field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Prior maritime experience is not a prerequisite and welcome experience from other sectors.
  • An innovative mindset, with the ability to think creatively and introduce new ideas.
  • The Institute of Asset Management certificate is not essential but desirable.
  • Knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) and familiarity with asset management software. Knowledge of other analytical tools will be beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team, showing cooperation and mutual respect towards colleagues.
  • The ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines.
