You’ll be joining our Defence Business Unit, supporting our customers to ensure that innovative and evidence-based solutions to problems are developed for the UK Armed Forces.
About the role
You’ll be a recent graduate with an exposure or interest in taking an analytical approach to the customer’s requirements. You will first seek to understand their needs before developing and then implementing analysis methodologies to identify and assess potential solutions.
This role sits within the Information Advantage area of our Defence Business Unit which develops and delivers products, services and analysis to enhance the situational awareness and decision making. The team you join is crucial in understanding the customers’ needs in order to direct our research and development and deliver our innovative solutions. They investigate business systems and courses of action for both our client and Roke’s own product development.
The projects you will be involved with will include working both autonomously and as part of a team, this may include teams with a mixture of specialisms where you may provide a key link between the deep engineering community and the customer. You’ll present your analysis to customers and contribute to the writing of customer and technical reports.
As a Graduate Business Analyst, you’ll spend the first six weeks of your time in a specially created boot camp that equips you with the fundamental skills required to succeed at Roke. After this, you’ll join a live project, continue to receive training, and start to contribute directly, building client relationships and supporting bidding activities to win new business. Your graduate scheme will last two years and provide plenty of variety, giving you the opportunity to develop a portfolio that can be used to showcase your developing skills during regular salary reviews.
