About the programme
Our Roche Diagnostics graduate programme is a two year programme in Burgess Hill, Sussex, UK, designed for recent graduates in the fields of Life Sciences, Marketing, Business, and Computer Science, that are at a very early stage of their career and are passionate about marketing, business, innovation, and communications.

Access and Innovation Programme
Experience what it takes to be an innovator and accelerate patient access to innovative diagnostics. Work in areas from transforming patient pathways to digital innovations, new business models and clinical evidence generation.
Note: this is not an R&D or product development role.
Marketing programme
Are you creative and passionate about making a difference? Immerse yourself across the marketing department working with the Marketing Communications, Product, Service Solutions and Clinical teams to build a deeper understanding of the diagnostics market and hands-on delivery of innovative marketing campaigns.
Communications programme
You will proactively support the day-to-day running of our small but dynamic Communications team by helping to identify the stories we want to tell from across the business and translating these into digestible, engaging content and clear messages for our internal and external channels and audiences. You will be given the responsibility to lead on some content and material creation, key projects and events, and to work with third party agencies on selected communications projects.
Marketing insights programme
Ever wondered how a company becomes truly customer centric? Learn how we use data, statistics and quantitative analysis to inform our customer experience strategy and our marketing strategy and campaigns.
Business process management programme
Are you ready to transform operations? As a Business Process Management Graduate, you'll support & lead dynamic initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma to drive efficiency and reduce waste. Collaborate with diverse teams to uncover improvement opportunities and inspire others through coaching in continuous improvement. Join us and be a vital force in fostering operational excellence and igniting sustainable change in a fantastic environment!
Project management office (PMO) Programme
Ready to kickstart your career and make a real impact? As a Graduate Project Manager, you’ll support projects from inception to completion, ensuring they stay on track and aligned with objectives. You'll dive into project management principles, enhance your organizational skills, and tackle challenges head-on while collaborating with diverse teams.
Finance programme
Kickstart your career in finance as you collaborate with various functions within our dynamic organisation to co-lead sustainable company performance. As part of our finance function, you will learn how to leverage financial acumen to deliver commercial success while developing foundational skills to accelerate your career as a finance professional.
Procurement & Supply Chain Programme
This programme gives you the opportunity to learn valuable procurement skills in negotiation, influencing, contracting, project and stakeholder management working within the Procurement function. All of which will provide an excellent foundation for when you transfer to the supply chain function.
Here you will immerse yourself in the end to end working of our Supply Chain Operation and gain broad hands-on experience in the core Supply Chain functional areas: Planning, Customer Service & collaboration and Logistics as well as leading a cross functional business project in one of our critical priority areas. You will learn what it takes to deliver great product availability and be part of an overall experience that will delight our customers.
Bids writing programme
An exciting role working closely with the Sales, Technical and Marketing teams to create the best content to respond to opportunities from the NHS and help win business for Roche. It involves understanding the needs of the NHS, teamwork, writing proposals and working with our knowledge management system, RFPIO.
Quality regulatory programme
Working with our experienced Quality team, the position will involve building a deep understanding of our processes. These include supporting the business on all our management systems, audits, non-regulatory complaints and certifications to ISO Standards. Your contribution will drive enhancement and continuous improvement to deliver the best experience to our customers and patients.
Customer Account Manager Programme (Location: Midlands, Central Region)
As an Associate Customer Account Manager, you will build strong, long-term relationships with your assigned customers, aligning their goals with our products and services during key changes in the healthcare industry.
You’ll enhance customer experience by optimizing operations, supporting Managed Laboratory Services (MLS) growth, and coordinating actions across teams. We’ll help you develop as the main contact for Roche Managed Service Accounts and third-party partners, guiding the entire customer journey. Success in this role requires strong communication, proactive problem-solving, and a strategic mindset to deliver value for both clients and the company.
