Job description

This advertisement is for a 6-week summer internship at Redington from 7th July through to 15th August for 2025.

The programme is a great opportunity for you to get a taste for what we do, helping you chose your future career path whilst contributing to real client solutions. Test the water, show us you can swim and you will be rewarded with an invitation to join us with a fast-track place on our graduate recruitment process should a position be available.

As an intern in our Asset Liability Management, you will be on a project with the other interns, which will introduce you to many of the concepts involved in modelling a pension scheme and advising clients. You will also work on actual client work and live projects within your team, which will encompass the role of a typical day in the (ALM) team.

Entry Requirements

Our summer internship programme welcomes applicants from all backgrounds, and university enrolment or completion is not a prerequisite for applying or qualifying. 

Our summer internship programme is thoughtfully designed to provide participants with the opportunity to be considered for a permanent role for the subsequent graduate year or possibly at the conclusion of the internship subject to business requirements and role availability.

If you are a current student in University we require that you are in your penultimate year of study and graduating from an undergraduate or master’s degree programme in 2026. This requirement is in place so that when you complete the internship you are eligible to be put forward for our Analyst level roles starting in 2026.

Qualifications

You will likely be

  • Highly interested in statistics, modelling, and have the ability to solve complex problems as this is a highly quantitative role
  • Interested in finance and capital markets
  • A good communicator (written)
