 As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have an exciting opportunity for a 12-month HR Industrial Placement in our Interiors business located in Leighton Buzzard, UK.  

Job summary

We're seeking a bright and enthusiastic individual to join our HR team for a 12-month adventure. This isn't just a job; it's your chance to level up your HR skills, connect with amazing people, and make a real impact on our organization.

Job responsibilities

Employee Experience

  • Support initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement, such as employee surveys and recognition programs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of employee wellness programs.
  • Be visible around the Campus helping employees connect with HR and helping to make working lives better.
  • Provide administrative support to HR projects and initiatives.

Onboarding

  • Assist with onboarding new hires, conducting orientation, and ensuring a smooth transition.

Internal Communications

  • Assist in developing and implementing internal communication strategies.
  • Create engaging content for various channels, such as newsletters, intranet, and email.
  • Create new ideas in support of internal communication campaigns and events.

Learning and Development

  • Support the delivery of training programs and workshops on site.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of training materials.
  • Track and analyse employee development needs.

HR Projects

  • Participate in various HR projects, such as talent management, diversity and inclusion, and organisational development.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support HR initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of HR goals and deployment plans.

Preferred requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A passion for HR and a desire to learn and grow.
