Job description
As a post production runner you will be a key team member to ensure the smooth running of the post production work at Prodigious. This will involve:
- Assisting with all post production sessions, providing refreshments, meals or ad hoc requests when needed.
- Assisting Post Producers with onsite needs such collecting voiceover artists from reception and showing them to the correct sound studio, printing scripts and collecting hard drives and taking them to MCR.
- Ensuring suites and client areas are regularly checked to ensure they are stocked and tidy.
- Keeping in regular contact with scheduling team and producers to ensure you are aware off all future bookings where your assistance is required
- Booking couriers and travel/taxis where required.
- Assisting with meeting room bookings.
- Working with MCR and edit assistants on tasks such as hard drive logging and booking in ingest/transcode time with them.
- Assisting on social and client entertainment activities.
- Assisting with pitches, small audio projects and internal productions when needed.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in developing a career in the Post Production industry
- Client/customer service - A strong verbal and written communicator who has client/customer service skills at the heart of everything.
- Communication - Keeping in regular contact with different internal teams and know what is happening at all times across different projects. We want someone who is a confident communicator and can work with a variety of teams!
- Organisation - Helping to setup, organise and facilitate post production sessions and ensuring everything runs smoothly for internal teams and clients
- Adaptability - Being able to work flexibly to different problems and championing a 'can-do' attitude
