Publicis Media's TAAG Studio is part of the TAAG Data Signal Practice, an exciting division of the data ops structure in the agency group driving the vision around A.I. and it’s application in the future of marketing.  

The role

The role of Junior Developer dives deep into the technical side of responsible marketing, focusing on building solutions that empower data-driven decision-making while prioritizing user privacy in a cookieless future. You'll work hand-in-hand with marketers, data analysts, and other developers across Publicis Media's group agencies to leverage the power of data engineering, automation, and AI for our clients.

Our TAAG Studio is a leader in data privacy and consent best practices, and we offer a full training program to equip you with the latest skills to excel in this dynamic and evolving field.

Key responsibilities 

  • Design and develop custom JavaScript solutions using frameworks like Node.js or React to integrate marketing platforms and internal systems for our agency clients within the Publicis Media group.
  • Implement data tagging strategies using Google Tag Manager with a focus on privacy-conscious server-side tagging solutions to minimize reliance on cookies and future-proof data collection methods.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) for marketing automation and campaign execution across client accounts.
  • Write data manipulation, cleaning, and analysis scripts using languages like Python or R, adhering to data privacy best practices and supporting the development of privacy-preserving analytics solutions.
  • Configure and manage data pipelines for campaign tracking and measurement for our clients. 
  • Explore and implement basic AI solutions to enhance marketing campaign targeting and personalization while respecting user consent preferences and prioritizing privacy-preserving techniques.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in digital marketing technologies, data engineering, cloud platforms, basic AI applications, and emerging data privacy practices. 

Qualifications

  • A passion for digital marketing and a desire to learn new technologies. 
  • An interest in Computer Science and Information Technology.
  • Foundational knowledge of JavaScript. Experience with a JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Node.js) a plus.
  • Basic understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • Basic understanding of SQL and data querying languages.
  • Interest in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) preferred.
  • Curiosity about AI concepts. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment.
