We are now searching for our next Customer Support industrial placement student to provide engineering support to both Aston Martin Racing and other Prodrive Motorsport programmes both on and between events.
What will you be doing
- Provide engineering support to customers on events and tests as required.
- Ensure efficient operation of the car and engine by the customer.
- Ensure all car electrical and data systems are properly configured with the latest software and calibration releases.
- Provide technical input to the customer to assist with car setup and strategy.
- Advise the customer to ensure their parts requirement is sufficient to achieve their objectives and advise customer of technical and parts updates.
- Collate and analyse data recorded from the data logger and ensure all data is correctly stored on the severs and share points.
- Prepare pre and post event report, documenting event information highlighting any issues and suggested follow up action.
Who are we looking for
- Currently studying for an accredited engineering degree, preferably Motorsport, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Demonstrable interest of working trackside within customer racing
- A desire to travel and experience some of the best motorsport events around the globe.
- A can-do approach. Must possess a positive attitude and display the ability to identify alternative solutions to problems.
- Able to prioritise tasks, meet challenging deadlines and work under pressure both independently and within a team.
