To co-ordinate, facilitate and deliver on key projects to improve Commercial Excellence across the UK&I. Within the UK&I, PPG ACUK have many sales channels with lots of exciting opportunities moving through the sales pipeline each day. This role is part of a Commercial Excellence team who track all this sales activity and identify opportunities for growth and development, each week. It is the perfect role for a commercially minded, self-motivated individual who would like daily exposure to a wide commercial environment. This role would be perfect for someone who is keen to learn and develop, relies on analytical data and enjoys presenting to groups.
Weekly Activity
Sending out Weekly Commercial Excellence Reports to all major internal stakeholders. Review all Commercial Excellence Data each week, create reports for the different sales channels and communicate these on a weekly basis. Add commentary each week including observations and recommendations for growth.
Support integration of Commercial Excellence with our sales network and support ongoing Training/Onboarding process. Ensure all incoming requests for training support are actioned in a timely manner. Ensure we work with new starters on structured training programmes to allow them to be fully familiar with the Commercial Excellence process.
Review ongoing UK Commercial Excellence KPI Progress. Work with sales teams to implement and action improvement programmes. Review KPI’s each week for UK Commercial Excellence. Work with sales teams to look at ways we can implement improvement plans and action them effectively.
Support Commercial Excellence Growth Projects. Due to the nature of this role, each day is different with exciting commercial projects coming up. This role would be involved with these, normally reviewing data and then presenting their findings.

- Daily contact with commercial colleagues across UK&I to progress projects, opportunities and solve problems
- Interaction with other departments such as service, technical & marketing to provide solutions to deliver the 360 degree view of customers

- Good IT skills
- PC literate with knowledge of numerical applications such as Excel (understanding of pivot tables/VLOOKUP and advanced formulae is desirable) and presentation software such as PowerPoint
- Understanding of business performance indicators (KPIs)
- Understanding of key commercial and business drivers

Experience and Qualifications
- Currently in their 2nd year of university studying for a degree in a related field
