Porsche Centre Newport have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join our award-winning Marketing team.
The role
This role will support our Porsche Marketing Executive with the day-to-day marketing for our brand-new Porsche Centre. Immersing yourself in this world-renowned brand, you will create and deliver first-class marketing campaigns, and produce exciting and diverse events all whilst ensuring that as a team, Porsche Strategy Guidelines are achieved for each Centre.
This role is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to gain valuable experience within a growing, friendly, and fast-paced Marketing team, and will be based in Newport and Bristol.
Key responsibilities
No two days will be the same and, working alongside the Porsche Marketing Executive, you will plan, deliver, and execute campaigns for Sales and Aftersales. Acting as a brand guardian, you will be proactively working with senior management teams to deliver the following:
- Keep all stakeholders up to date with details of upcoming marketing campaigns and plans, as well as managing relationships to ensure objectives are met.
- Update quarterly marketing collateral (e.g. marketing plans, on-hold scripts etc.)
- Actively participate in sharing ideas and contributing to digital output, including the management of all Porsche Social Media profiles and the creation of relevant content for our Centre and Group websites.
- Carry out weekly website audits and digital reports, as well as updating departmental trackers.
- Events – support in the creation, delivery, and measurement of all events.
- Completion of marketing campaign briefing documents for our in-house Graphic Designer for advertising, direct marketing, POS, and HTML requirements.
- Extract campaign data from Dealer Management Systems and compliance with GDPR on data-handling.
- Contribute to administrative tasks and website updates as required to ensure the Marketing Department’s success and efficiency.
- Day-to-day copy writing, including but not limited to blog articles, HTML communications, customer invitations, and additional direct customer communications.
- Brief and collate data for HTML campaigns to our customer databases.
About you
We are looking for the following criteria for this role:
- A creative/marketing degree is desired, but not essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with copywriting skills
- Interest in digital marketing and social media platforms and an understanding of how these channels can help to deliver results
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to work with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work across multiple projects at once
- Must be proactive and flexible in respect of changing initiatives and demands from across the business
- Creative, detail-orientated, and highly organised
- Ability to handle high pressure situations and times when there may be a high volume of work across various disciplines
- A Full UK Driving License is necessary as travel will be required between sites
