Have you just graduated and looking for your first role as a Graduate Cost Manager within the Built Environment? Pick Everard are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Cost Manager to join our esteemed team in one of our Manchester office.

In your role, you will be providing support to the cost management team with the preparation of cost estimates, cost plans and tender documents. This exciting opportunity will provide you the chance to work on a range of projects ranging from 1 - 500 million, across different sectors such as commercial, residential, schools, hospitals; offering you variety and challenge very early on in your career.

Our Early Careers Development Scheme is a two year programme in which we will support your development in becoming a successful professional within the industry.

You will receive structured support with chartership, technical training and professional membership from our internal mentors as you work towards achieving your professional accreditation. Our mentors come with a wealth of knowledge and experience, therefore providing you with the best support in your chosen career path.

About you

Our ideal Graduate Cost Manager must have

  • Achieved a degree of 2:1 or above in Cost Management/Quantity Surveying or a related subject
  • A professional attitude, providing you with the ability to effectively liaise with clients
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • A strong interest and desire to work within the Construction industry

It would be nice for you to have

  • An interest in looking to work towards achieving chartership
  • The ability to work effectively in a team to achieve a common goal
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
