Working directly with the Chief Executive on all aspects of the company’s management, including finance, human resources, sales, marketing and strategy. You will act as an assistant to the Chief Executive, but also be able to understand the issues they are dealing with and be able to take the initiative and work autonomously when appropriate.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Executive Support: Assist the Chief Executive in all aspects of the company’s management and gaining insight into high level business strategy
  • Meeting Facilitation: Attend meetings, Take detailed minutes of meetings and record the key decisions taken and actions to be performed
  • Cross-Functional Exposure: Perform administrative and operational tasks in finance, human resources, sales and marketing. Developing understanding of how these operations come together to support business success.
  • CEO Deputisation: where appropriate, building leadership skills and gaining confidence in handling executive-level responsibilities.

Qualifications and Skills

Essential

  • MBA or Masters in a business-related field with a focus on business management, strategy, or operations, combined with an undergraduate degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field., 2:1 minimum.
  • Exceptional Written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to integrate technical knowledge into business decision-making processes.
  • Detail-oriented, with exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Understanding of or interest in Agile methodologies, DevOps, and software automation tools.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion to learn new skills and procedures.

Nice to have

  • Experience of Atlassian software including familiarity with Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket
  • Knowledge of accounting and finance
  • Keen interest in the Technology sector
