Overview
We’re looking for a highly motivated undergraduate who would like to experience a year in industry within a fast-paced HR placement.The placement would be within the Supply Chain HR team based in Leicester. This role will cover two of our Snacks Manufacturing sites – Leycroft and Bursom, supporting across the People agenda.
At PepsiCo, you won’t find our HR people sitting on the sidelines. They know the business inside and out, and work alongside their colleagues to ensure that people are at the heart of everything we do.
Your placement will include a range of support across various aspects of the people agenda across Leicester Manufacturing, covering a population of circa 1100 employees. This will involve you supporting on case management and core people processes, initiatives to elevate our employee experience and transformation projects. So, there is plenty for you to get your teeth into!
Responsibilities
On your placement, you can expect to support the site support teams and colleagues with:
• Support and coach managers on Employee Relations and HR related issues.
• Support on several core HR people planning processes, including Talent Review, Performance Management process, Organisational Health (OHS) etc.
• Support the Engagement Coordinator on aspects of the Employee Forum Calendar of events designed to elevate our employee’s experience and promote cultural change
• Support on organisational change impacting people or employee engagement
• Support tracking, analytics and talent metric, to monitor ROI, impact of initiatives, and specific targets
• Support on continuous improvement in the HR space within functions, including but not limited to Culture, Inclusion, Well-being, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Learning and Development.
Qualifications
What are we looking for:
- Students that have the full right to work for the duration of the full time placement (July 2025-July 2026).
- Students currently in their penultimate year of university studies, where the course includes the option of completing a sandwich placement before returning to study after the placement.
- Self-starting and curious about operating within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Change adaptive and resilient in supporting change programmes and ER case management
- Flexible to support significant manufacturing site with a 24/7 operation
- Motivated to get stuck into all aspects of the employee calendar of events to support driving cultural change and employee engagement initiatives
- Keen to develop your communicating, coaching and influencing at all levels
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to adapt quickly to a constantly changing environment
What else do you need to know?
Our placements start in July 2025 on a full-time basis and will last for 12 months, with a salary of £25,500.
