The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the home entertainment marketing team in a variety of activities crafted to promote the combined content offering of Paramount Pictures, Miramax, CBS, Showtime, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon and MTV - across digital formats.

What will you be doing?

  • Build a deeper understanding of the commercial side of the film & TV industry
  • Gain insight into home media content marketing & distribution
  • Gain confidence and the opportunity to demonstrate work experience in an iconic entertainment organisation
  • Monitor the UK & Nordic competitor environment - keeping track of key competitor release information, i.e. box office performance, release dates, consumer pricing, special collector’s edition box sets, offers across digital services, etc.
  • Maintain the release schedule and ensure any changes / updates are reported to key partners
  • Handle tracking documents including key landmarks for each upcoming, marketing campaign delivery
  • Input updates into the marketing team “catalogue marketing planning” file
  • Assist the physical team with tasks including packaging sign off and pre-order information
  • Support in the implementation of key customer events – premieres & screenings
  • Produce creative assets for use in key digital customer campaigns, e.g. Amazon Prime
  • Support the creation / execution of quarterly digital catalogue, temporary price move (TPR) plans in-line with commercial objectives
  • Inputting content pricing changes into key digital customers systems, e.g. Apple ITC, AirTable
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of assets to our digital distribution partners – reviewing assets for each new release and working with LA marketing team
  • Help build Quarterly presentations
  • Lead platform audits to check for price, availability and artwork
  • Consumer Marketing
  • Help with title marketing campaigns – including:
    • Briefing consumer media campaigns
    • Briefing consumer publicity and PR campaigns
    • Crafting organic & paid social media posts
    • Briefing creative vendors and communicating amends
    • Own the delivery of catalogue marketing campaigns including working with internal and external partners
    • Helping to build and present post-campaign reports

What are we looking for?

  • Digital skills – demonstrate strong Microsoft Office (with particular focus on MS Excel) and an ability to learn to use new digital systems
  • Self-motivated and attention to detail - with a passion for co-ordination and prioritisation
  • Multi-task and stick to deadlines
  • A clear communicator – both written and verbally
  • Passionate about film & TV content – able to converse fluently about the latest content releases in cinemas, on streaming services, TV broadcast, etc.
  • Excellent teammate
