Oxford Economics, a leading independent economic research and advisory firm, is looking for a Digital Marketing Intern to join our growing marketing team. This role offers broad exposure to digital marketing technologies and hands-on training in a dynamic, data-driven environment.

    As part of the Digital Excellence Team, you will support

    • The Digital Strategy Manager in implementing AI-powered SEO tools and assisting with paid media campaign management.
    • The Website Designer with content updates and WordPress management (training provided).
    • The Marketing Operations Manager in maintaining and optimising our marketing tech stack and data management processes.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop practical digital marketing skills while working with a leading global economics firm. You'll receive structured training, mentorship, and exposure to key digital tools, making this an ideal first step into a marketing career.

    The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in digital marketing, website optimisation, analytics, and automation tools. We are looking for someone analytical, forward thinking with excellent attention detail as well as being passionate about user experience and improving process.

    Key responsibilities

    • Website content management
      • Publishing new content, maintaining existing pages
      • Ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines & processes
      • Edit & create WordPress blocks (Training provided)
    • SEO Implementation
      • Working with BrightEdge AI to identify SEO opportunities
      • Optimising existing website content using SEO audit documentation
      • Supporting the implementation of AI recommendations on site
      • Using SEO insights to conduct Google PPC (pay per click) keyword research
    • Marketing Operations
      • Data clean-up and hygiene maintenance
      • Monitoring marketing mailboxes
      • Monitoring Zapier integrations and ensuring go live of new campaigns.
      • Policing marketing best practices in usage of CRM platform

    Skills, knowledge and expertise

    • Degree educated, preferably from a marketing, communications, data analytics or related field.
    • Strong interest in digital marketing, analytics and user experience.
    • Technologically capable with an affinity for using multiple tools and programs.
    • Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • A proactive and curious approach to problem-solving.
