We have an exciting new position for a trainee transport planner to join NMSB to support the implementation of our transport strategy. This role will act as a key member of the Transport Team, ensuring alignment with the Transport Strategy, Legal & Compliance and operation of our fleet.
Duties will include
- Supporting with end-to-end administration tasks
- Managing the administration for new HGV Drivers employee on-boarding
- Monthly input of payroll data including overtime, changes, sickness, leavers and deductions in line with payroll deadlines
- Building relationships across all HGV Drivers and NMSB Sites
- Answering any employee inquiries and visiting sites as required
- To engage with customer teams, 3rd party hauliers and also the customers suppliers
- To support the Management team in executing our internal transport solution
- To pre advise the management team of any potential failures in the Transport Operation
- To schedule work using the current Transport Management System
- To ensure the system is updated and correct in a timely manner
To ensure that the Company’s activities comply with legislation and regulation concerning Health, Safety and Welfare, Quarry Regulations, Environmental and Quality control the role will be required to learn, understand and adhere to all policies and procedures.
