NHS Property Services enables excellent patient care by acting as a trusted advisor to the NHS and by providing the best estate solutions.  

We manage 2,700 properties with 6,300 customers across England, which accounts for approximately 10% of the total NHS estate. Our properties range from listed buildings to new integrated care centres and include hospitals, GP practices and offices. 

The Customer Graduate role in the Customer team plays a pivotal role in supporting the newly formed Relationship Management team to develop and maintain strong customer relationships, driving a customer centric culture by ensuring customer relationships remain our top priority. The Graduate role will be key in supporting the Relationship Management (RM) team to deliver their KPIs, drive continuous improvement to support our customer experience and relationships whilst identifying new trends that the team can adopt within their approach.  

The graduate role will be part of the company-wide graduate programme where they will be part of a cohort of graduates across the organisation and will undertake an induction, learning pathway, be matched with a mentor and have regular check-ins with the Talent team. 

What you will do  

  • Maintain the Relationship Management (RM) teams KPI’s keeping the team on track to deliver them (CSAT, NPS, etc.) 
  • Identify trends through our customer insights to develop and deliver recommendations with our Relationship Partners  
  • Lead on mini projects to drive and deliver solutions from critical route cause analysis and customer engagement issues 
  • Take data and intel from multiple forms (documents, reports, statistics) and make meaning out of the data to support the development of actions for the RM team to deliver  
  • Build relationships across the whole RM team, the wider cross-functional teams across the organisation and our customers including National Bodies and within Integrated Care Systems (ICS) 
  • Support and drive consistency across the Relationship Partners approaches  
  • Research industry trends and future trends to provide suggestions and recommendations for the team to adopt  
  • Get familiar with our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool 
  • Engage with the company-wide graduate programme through the learning pathway and other graduate activities 

Who you are  

  • Degree level professional qualification in a relevant subject 
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills. 
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a team.   
  • Passion for healthcare and/or property 
  • Ability to travel to attend head offices (London, Birmingham, Stockport) for work and training purposes   
  • We would like to see experience being in a fast-paced working environment and/or working with different people/teams to achieve shared objectives – this can be in a sports team or a community group 
  • Volunteering or community work experience 

Where you’ll be  

We have a hybrid model that involves travel to our offices and some remote working.
