An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Stirling Agency.

The role

This is a great opportunity to join an established team as a Trainee Commercial Insurance Adviser.

You will be fully supported throughout a comprehensive training programme. When licenced in all relevant product lines, you will be surrounded by colleagues within the Stirling Agency and the wider NFU Mutual team who will guide and support you as you become a skilled commercial insurance adviser.

Once you’re up to speed, your primary focus will be on the acquisition of new commercial insurance business as well as looking after a proportion of our existing commercial clients.

To be successful at this role, you will be a driven and determined individual with excellent people skills.

About you

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to form and nurture strong working relationships • Self-Motivated with the ability to network and develop a sales pipeline
  • Some experience of the insurance and/or financial services sector would be beneficial, but not essential
  • Graduate level applicants with no previous financial services or sales experience welcome
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and sales support systems
  • Minimum of Grade C/ Grade 4 in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent). • Full UK driving license and access to your own car for customer visits
