The role

As an eCommerce Trading Assistant, you will work to maximise the performance of the product page (PDP) for your product area. You’ll become an expert in the product and alongside using sales analysis and key onsite metrics, you will optimise the product pages onsite to drive conversion and help reduce returns. 

What else is involved?

  • Work closely with team to maximise the performance of all funnel metrics for product page (e.g. conversion rate)
  • Review metrics (page views Vs conversion) by product type and item level to identify biggest optimisation opportunities 
  • Make changes based on data (upsells, pills, groupings, items titles, descriptions, imagery, new feature roll out) - the lead on how we sell items to our customers.
  • Review data recommendations for performance and commercial optimisation opportunities
  • Use reports daily to flag any product page issues, works with the business owner and business manager to resolve
  • Support investigations into issues and optimisation
  • Review PDP performance at category and item level
  • Review and optimises returns rates
  • Discuss opportunities with the business owner and product teams
  • Suggest amends to product pages based on data
  • Support product page QA
  • Regularly review the competition
