Reporting to the People Systems Manager you will primarily be supporting the wider Reward and Data team in managing our HR System (Workday), providing reports and analysis on our HR Data and supporting managers and colleagues with their pay and benefits queries and wider Reward projects
Key responsibilities
- Support the People Systems team in maintaining and troubleshooting issues within our HR System (Workday)
- Supporting the implementation of reward initiatives, including pay / bonus reviews and employee benefits
- Supporting the Reward Partner and Reward Analyst with answering queries from colleagues on their pay and benefits
- Generate reports and analyse data from Workday to provide colleague insights to the wider HR team and managers
- Upload and maintain data into Workday
- Proactively contribute to process improvements and best practice
- Upholding governance for information security, security access, and consistency across the tenant
With the support of your manager mentor and buddy, you will have objectives to work towards to make sure you are developing during your time with us. You will have exposure to the responsibilities of wider team by supporting projects and tasks in the department. Assessment Centres to identify the successful candidate will be held throughout April 2025 at Cobalt Business Park.
About you
You should have a desire to work in business and financial services and will need to have successfully completed the second year of your studies and intend to return to University to complete your final year at the end of your placement.
You will need to be able to demonstrate
- Confidence to communicate effectively via different methods of communication
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems logically
- Strong numerical skills and confidence working with large sets of data
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
- An ability to work both independently and within a team
- Willingness to commit to your own development
- Computer literacy and competence on Microsoft packages, particularly Excel
