Human Resources (HR) provides support on all people-related issues for Network Rail. We’re responsible for creating an environment that attracts and engages high-performing individuals to deliver engineering and operational excellence for Britain’s railway. Brief Description

This is a Permanent, Full time post, but flexible working patterns will be considered.

We’re looking for someone with a passion for delivering excellent customer service to provide efficient administrative support to ensure the smooth and effective delivery of all apprentice and graduate assessment centres and campaigns.

What are the key accountabilities in this role?

  • Provide administration support for volume recruitment campaigns, this includes managing inboxes and calendar events
  • Prioritise workload to meet recruitment campaign targets
  • Support in the delivery of all virtual & face-to-face assessment centres including securing Business Assessors attendance at events
  • Maintain accurate administration records and databases
  • Host pre-assessment sessions with candidates and business assessors
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with recruiting managers and regional HR resourcing teams and local managers
  • Key liaison with candidates which includes coordinating reasonable adjustment requests for assessment centre, making verbal offers and giving feedback
  • Provide pro-active and specialist support on delivery, demonstrating a solution focused approach to all aspects of each volume recruitment campaign.
  • Work as an integral member and ambassador for the National delivery team, building strong relationships with members of local route and corporate HR, to ensure a seamless candidate journey from application through to onboarding.

What are the essential skills and experience we’re looking for?

  • Enjoys completing repetitive and complex administration tasks
  • Efficient MS office administration skills
  • Ability to accurately maintain complex excel databases which contain sensitive confidential data
  • Friendly communicator - able to build relationships and speak with confidence to candidates and stakeholders by person, using telephone and in video conferencing
  • Experience of meeting challenging deadlines in a volume orientated resourcing/recruiting environment.
  • Experience of working in a demanding, target and deadline driven environment
  • Excellent verbal communication and written skills
  • Experience of working as part of a team in a client-focused environment.

We would also like, but it’s not essential

  • Experience in either Graduate or Apprentice campaign delivery
